Hi Mowandgo! Did you ever figure out was causing your mantis Honda gx25 tiller to cut out at high rpm?
I replaced the fuel filter and lines on mine and fixed the engine from turning off today and it seemed to run fine for awhile at full throttle but started to lose a little power and almost seemed like it was skipping, it’s extremely hot today in NC. but I’m thinking it’s the coil or valves. It has new plug, air and fuel filter and fuel lines.

checked the oil to make sure it was ok, it was full but like thin cooked hot water.

I’ve never understood how lawn mowers, motorcycles and tillers last so long.

It was having the exact same issues as yours though, been a great tiller.

Thanks and have a great one.

sundrop.
