Timberwolf 125

Just bought a 2001 tw125 about a month ago. It's a great little chipper and performers well. When I first used the chipper it would occasionally stop feeding when the stress kicked in and you'd have to press the in feed button to get it to start again. Now the problem has developed and almost every branch stops the rollers and requires constant pressing of the in feed button to get it to chip. Occasionally the button won't work and requires pressing the stop bar to rest and get it to feed again.

Any help to this problem would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hello Great North Trees

The problem you describe may indicate the forward latch relay is dropping out during use.

I would suggest checking all the switches as the relay latching system holds through the NC circuit of the reverse button, and also condition of all the connectors including the crimps on the female spades in the relay base.

Hope this helps

Good luck :thumbup1:
