Husky warranty

The brake handle broke on my basic 236 husky which is only used for logging etc hasnt been dropped but whilst 18 months old the warranty wouldnt cover it according to the dealer and Husky themselves- its not down to manufacturing default. Just curious whether others have come across this problem?

If it didn't break until after 18montgs of use, I can see their logic.

If it had broken soon after purchase, a manufacturing fault would have been easier to prove.
