I've a fairly big oak near the airport to fell, so has anyone either got a wagon and grab that could haul the stick back to oldham, or would be interested in the stick themselves? I didn't measure it but I'd estimate it a little shy of a meter, and twenty odd feet.:thumbup1:

A local site for a load of chip and firewood sized wood be handy too:thumbup1:

Hi mate, we're still forgetting those blowers:001_rolleyes

Probably in the next couple of weeks, but it may in the New Year by the time everything is sorted. Sorry not much of an answer. It's a job from one of our clients whose work has supposedly caused the demise of the tree. They're being coerced by the owner to foot the bill, so I'm trying to keep the price down - not ringing it up on site.

I could collect it but it'd have to be free or super cheap to make it worth fetching from the wrong side off the hill.

How much can you carry? I think it could be a good sound butt to plank. I'll try a get back over there Sunday and sort some pics
