Broken arm..

spent 10days waiting for a urgent operation,most frustrated 10days of my life!

 

I guess I was lucky then, they tried to put my broken/dislocated ankle back twice, then gave up and sent me for an op stright away:001_smile:

ankles are realy bad though as when they are dislocated the blood supply to the foot is cut off and if not treated you could loose your foot. this isn't the case with elbows apparently and hence the long wait.

they tried twice to put one of my ankles back twice so i was told,i was so out of it in a+e on morphine when they done!!

Same, I remember just before the first attempt, waking up being told they were going to try again, then waking up before the op but had to wait as a bloke was being resusitated next to me
