What grease do I need

The best grease you can afford. I use jcb hp grease in everything. It's a lithium compound one. Oh and it's blue too.

 

There are only 2 grease manufacturers in the country and JCB isnt one of them. If you see lithium/calcium complex grease in 400 gram tubes it will almost certainly come from one of these companies.

The Blue grease is generally a extreme load pin and bush grease that has graphite in it, this has extra water resistant properties. This grease is generally used in loaders,bulldozers and heavy equipment where water ingress is more likely.

The Red grease is a standard Lithium / Calcium complex bearing grease for more general extreme pressure, high temperature use.

Don't necessarily be fooled by a name, chances are its made by the same firm.
