Does anybody know who does training for workshop level chainsaw maintance ? I have spoken to several collages and they only do basic chainsaw NPTC . I spoke to stihl and they only train main dealers.

I am looking to set up a workshop so would need precessional accreditation.

Oh. You must become a stihl dealer first to get there training. This is. A major pita. Look into it and you will find out.

There is no training out there for chainsaw mechs just for engine techs.

Umm, no wonder we get such rubbish service from the dealers when there is no competition.

It's not good when a triad is effectively a closed shop.

I will keep on it.
