New Sprayer Keeps Dribbling!

I've been chatting with Stihl technical dept today Gsi Maintenance. They are aware of the problem with these sprayers. They said that there will be a new lance coming out to fix the problem. The person that I spoke to said that since it is a problem that they are aware of it should be covered under warranty. However there isn't going to be a recall or public announcement when it comes out so all he could suggest was for me to keep checking with my dealer.

In the meantime he suggested that if you raise the nozzle higher than the trigger unit and squeeze the trigger to bleed the air out prior to use. it cures the dribble, while waiting for the fix to come out.

 

Thanks for the info Chris, I've put it back to the dealer with the info you gave to see if they can sort it out or give me my money back. I'm not holding my breath on them sorting out a replacement lance for it tho lol.
