2nd climber required for permanent employment in an Oldham based, family run, company.

 

The successful applicant will require all relevant chainsaw/climbing/rescue certificates or be working to attain them, although consideration will be given to applicants with other suitable qualifying attributes.

 

A clean driving licence is required and trailer licence preferred.

 

The successful applicant would not require extensive climbing experience but a good understanding and adherence to current best practice is necessary.

 

The work we do is mixed between domestic and commercial and quite varied. Academic goals are encouraged and promoted.

 

Salary negotiable and self employment may be considered.

 

The ideal candidate would join our company with a view to progress and develop both personally and within the business. The ability to work under instruction is necessary, but initiative is also encouraged.

 

Our current lead climber has worked both in Sweden and Germany, and is enthusiastic and willing to teach in the craft of climbing, both drt and srt.
