coming out of the base near roots mangled in 1996. no spores coming out yet, rather brownish, not honey-colored to my eye.

leaning toward Megacollybia sp (perhaps M. platyphylla) but it would be useful to know what the spore colour is & perhaps a clearer image of the gill structure?
