Team Lead Climber, SW London, up to £32k

Microbee Tree Management Ltd have a vacancy for a motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years experience within the industry. You will be required to undertake paid assessment days and a longer trial period will begin after your successful appointment.

 

We are offering........

 

• Quite a nice job with varied work locations and tasks
  
• Salary between £23k and £27k depending on experience and qualifications
  
• Quarterly group bonus, based purely on sharing the profit, when it happens!
  
• Overtime at time and half for the willing, usually £2000 to £4000 a year
  
• 20 days holiday, plus an extra one each year
  
• Paid bank holidays and Christmas break
  
• All PPE provided
  
• Potential role change to part climber / part surveyor
  

 

You will need........

 

• A great attitude, with minimal grumbling, actually, zero grumbling
  
• CS30,31,38,39 as a minimum
  
• Seriously good team leadership skills
  
• Good knowledge of pruning for crown continuity
  
• Full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points
  
• Excellent Health and Safety knowledge
  
• A good foundation in completing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  
• CS40,41,47, MEWP beneficial
  
• First Aid appointed person, beneficial
  
• CSCS card, beneficial
  
• TechCert or ND, beneficial
  
• A strong history of completing work on time and to customer satisfaction
  
• A good team leadership frame of mind, nurturing a good team spirit

I just want to clarify that the position is to be a Lead Climber in a team of 2 or 3, not a Team Leader of the whole unit, it's not Manager level.
