Hi,

I may be involved with some work reinstating an old coppicing site and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of the process. I will find out more about the site next month and will put up photos and descriptions.

Thanks Steve

What’s the coppice Steve? How long has it lapsed?

I have little accurate details at the moment but I think it may be a mixture of broadleaf native species and 20ish years lapsed. Don’t worry too much until I have full details and then I will post a full description and pictures for people to comment. Thanks Steve

I have worked more coppice than I care to remember...restoration work mostly.

All on SSSI's or Ancient woodland using a range of equipment & techniques....If I can offer any advice I will.

Take it easy.
