Just been to look at some very nice hardwood, there's some discrepancies about the tonnage so I'm offering a price based on a cubic metre. What you charging or paying per cube for cord at present.

hardwood any where between 38 per m to 46 per m roadside depending on size and species in dorset /wiltshire plus vat

Why discrepencies over tonnage surely no arguments over a public weighbridge with a printed ticket.My preffered way you know exactly what you get and how much it has cost.

Did you get the wood in carmarthenshire ?

Hi Chris,

 

No artic or forwarder access all wood stacked at various locations so I'm shifting it my self. I could use the weigh bridge at the local gravel yard but it's a balls ache!

 

The timber from west wales never materialised! I left countless messages and emails but nothing!
