hi

probably posting in wrong place, lol but after trying to source the above.

Not chainsaw related but my Fs400 strimmer has lack of power think maybe carburetor related and workshop manual tells me to look at above book and buy the setting guage tool, but in need of handbook.

hello trouble shooting manual says:

engine does not deliver full power or runs erratically:

CAUSE secondary air seepage through leaking gaskets on carburettor spacer flange/ poorly mounted or faulty manifold.

REMEDY FIT NEW GASKETS/ MOUNT MANIFOLD CORRECTLY

CAUSE piston rings leaking or broken

REMEDY FIT NEW PISTON RINGS

CAUSE muffler carbonised

REMEDY CLEAN MUFFLER{INLET AND EXHAUST}REPLACE SPARK ARRESTING SCREEN

hope this helps I would start with cleaning the exhaust and look at the piston and rings through the exhaust port for scoring .good luck
