WoodChip mulching experiences?

Wouldn't it be great to have a resource of case studies from arborists about the benefit of wood chip mulching?

 

An increased knowledge and practice would improve tree health and maybe increase the price for your woodchip pile.

 

Ideally before and after examples. Maybe examples of regular care as well as reactive use of woodchip.

 

Tips and advice I.e not too much etc

 

How not to do it too. I.e ruin the roots digging up the grass first.

 

A resource can be used to convince skeptical customers and the odd council.
