Hi all

As a person who have benefited from a city terrace house with cheap gas, I now find my self living in the country and have become obsessed with wood.

I have a few noob questions.

1) If buying seasoned wood in bulk what is a reasonable price to pay per M cube/ ton?

2) If buying cords or rounds what is going rate ( I need enough for about 25m3)

3) if anyone has some cords / rounds going can you PM me prices / load sizes, I live in Barnham Broom and would need drop off, but happy pay for delivery

4) I'm also happy to labour for free wood : )

Many thanks

I'm interested in this too, since the woods we where going to be using are undergoing some Council based work, we won't have access for maybe a year or two.

Interested in getting a load that needs cutting/chopping/storing in Oswestry area.

plenty of places around shrews/north wales for you chill.

I'm listening :thumbup1: , in fact I'm really interested in any wood that needs turning into firewood pretty much. We should have a log store around 15-20m3 going up in March, and enough land to store unprocessed too.

I did wonder how much a Kronospan lorry driver would need in a bribe for loosing his (wood) load
