I went to look at this tree this morning. As the neighbour is very worried that the tree is leaning more than it was after the last storms.as I looked from his garden it's the stem in the middle that is the worst. Along with the left to. Is it pos to work of the right hand only? Or double lines from right and far left.? To remove the middle. The tree is a willow. I did look at it in the garden were it is was hard to get a good pic as there is a drop to it from the house.plus hedge. There is no room for cherry picker

Hi mate I would anchor into right stem with filp line on stems that you remove. I would start with the one on far letf and lower off middle one then use topping strop for middle to finish job. However by the picture I would section fell the whole tree for peace of mind. But im only going of the picture it may dictate different if I was on site or I seen it initially.

Best of luck mate stay safe.

Thanks for replies I realise pic is hard to see how much it's moved. But from where I took pic the neighbors house is underneath and the garden it's in I had to jump down to it. Not a lot of room in the garden its in for pics that side. Could it b possible to hold middle stem with a tirfor winch? While work is carried out,For safety?

Thanks

Tony
