Yeh I usually say 1.7m3 full I'll put the dimensions up tomorrow. I know of one chap who fills them with split logs then stacks them 8 high on his yard with a lid (piece of ply) on the top ones.

talking of these - and slightyly de-railing - to those of you using IBCs - how much are you paying for them ? as the £25 ea pricetag here seems pretty darn good.

IBC's normally around £15 each around here for frames only or £30 including plastic bottle.

thanks john - just about to buy some frame only ones but doing some price searching only showed the £45 fully cleaned and refurbed. think ive found a local supplier which is good.

INTERNAL dimensions of the potato boxes are approx. length 177cm width 117cm and height 83cm. There are 600 available like that and then more available similar.
