Hi, I currently have a palax 600 combi, but was thinking of buying a more upto date processor. Been looking at the palax power 70 and the posch 280, was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the pros and cons of these 2 machines? Thanks

Look at a tajfun 280 or 300 same quilt as a Posch with smaller price tag.

Back up from Kilworth machinery excellent if u were to have problem or any questions.

Hi I had about 4 of the palax s over the years and thought very highly of them buy new and change every 3 years and no problems at all doing 1500 cube a winter.Depending what sort of timber you process the palax 70 and posch 280 won t cut any bigger only more coplicated. If you can get bigger timber 6"to 16" look at a palax 100 2 tons of solid steel.16 tons of splitter .Looked at posch 350 but it got stuck on knotty oak with only 6 way knife and it only weighs about 1.25 tons the splitter is only 12 tons.

I bought a Palax100 from Jim at caledonian 3 years ago and I think he has 2 s/h ones at the moment and he gave me a very good price for my old palax.

Hope this helps Big Chris.

Posch every time! Mine is very old but still does everything I ask it to.

Spare parts are still only 24 hours away too on a phone call.
