I've been asked for anti-bribery Policy which apparently all companies should have in place.

 

So to preempt the next request I'm looking to prepare anti-slavery Policy - this is proving a tricky one to write, contributions welcome

ANTI-SLAVERY & HUMAN TRAFFICKING POLICY

PURPOSE

To prevent slavery and human trafficking in XXXXXXXX’s supply chain.

APPLICATION

This policy applies to XXXXXXXX, our suppliers, and affiliates in all countries in which we do business.

POLICY

XXXXXXXX is committed to complying with existing national and/or local laws and regulations including but not limited to those related to slavery, human trafficking, labor, immigration, health and safety, and the environment.

One of XXXXXXXX's core values is people. This means:

• We create success through collaboration

• We have fun

XXXXXXXX is committed to ensuring that its suppliers value people too and by doing so, do not use slave labor or engage in human trafficking. Suppliers must fully comply with all applicable national and/or local laws and regulations including but not limited to those related to slavery, human trafficking, labor, immigration, health and safety, and the environment.

PROCEDURE

Supplier Compliance Tracking

• XXXXXXXX conducts annual supplier reviews which will include but are not limited to labor, quality assurance and good agriculture practices

• XXXXXXXX will promptly and thoroughly investigate any claims or indications that a supplier is engaging in human trafficking or slave labor

Reporting Violations

• Violations of this policy can be reported confidentially in a local language. If you have knowledge that any of these standards are being violated, you are encouraged to report the issue. Contact methods are listed below:

EFFECTIVE DATE

This policy is effective 22 November, 2013.
