Hi I am looking for a kindling splitter, hopefully with a single ram and a set of say 5 or 6 knives that the ram will push the timber through. The timber will be either cut-to-length boards or small round logs (also cut-to-length).

Ideally I am looking for something that can be manually operated, not electric or petrol driven and also cheap.

Anyone know of such a machine or were I could get one, cheers!

fuel , or electric ( at a push ) are the future until the fuel runs out. A hand pump splitter takes the mess. Them fly wheel kindlers look the nads. Look for how to make one of them. They are fairly simple
