Position: Consulting Arborist (permanent, full time post)

Location: Redditch

Salary: Competitive – dependant on experience

Qualification requirement: Recognised QCF level 3 qualification in Arboriculture

 

Job Description: Responsible for assisting in preparing, managing and delivering a range of arboricultural services for consultancy projects and contracts. This role predominantly includes: delivery of arboricultural consultancy, mainly in the form of undertaking fieldwork and compiling reports; liaising with existing clients and actively seeking new business opportunities.

 

Arboricultural Activities

 

- Carry out surveys and inspections of trees including hazard assessments and pre-development site surveys.

 

- Record information in the field using handheld computers and/or paper schedules and plans.

 

- Update and maintain tree inventories using a variety of software including GIS.

 

- Produce arboricultural reports for a wide variety of requirements (tree condition reports, pre-development reports and arboricultural method statements, arboricultural mortgage reports) to a high standard.

 

- Produce accurate and professional tree survey plans in AutoCAD.

 

- Prepare quotations for arboricultural surveys and reports.
