Worcester Boiler

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I should buy a new couple of rads, along with the secondhand boiler. A couple of 'Kudox the right size, comes in at less than £140. Since the present '350' boiler is a Worcester and has been very little problem over the years. I'm inclined to stay with the same make.

Both present and prospective are gas combi units and thus will require installation by registered engineer. I don't see a problem with with swapping valves though. The prospective boiler & rads have been off the walls less than two weeks - the rads are being stored under cover, while the boiler & MagnaClean are being stored indoors.

I'd recently been thinking of swapping out the two rads and fitting a MagnaClean. Also been wondering how long the ageing boiler had left but the thought of buying a new boiler was daunting. Then a friend said he'd swapped heating systems and casually mention the sale of his original stuff. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get a pup of a deal.
