bought my 200 cheap and ran fine for a couple of months, started to run dodgy, so adjusted the carb, then wouldnt start at all, took it to be repaired and they gave it back to me in a box dismantled saying the piston and block was scored, so would it be best to gen or non gen parts?

See if you can salvage the cylinder, and fit an aftermarket piston, also see the thread 'what's on my bench' by spudulike for information
