Forestry & Firewood Operatives wanted in Cornwall

We are a busy and rapidly expanding Firewood and Forestry Business based nr Truro in Cornwall processing last year over 1900 tonnes of cordwood and sawlog, The estimated growth for 2013-2014 is a further 42 %

 

This means again we are futher expanding our existing team of foresters and firewood procesors and looking for a eager, enthusiastic & dedicated new team memebers

 

Firewood operative post-

full training onsite will be given but use of of firewood processor will be a advantage, and chainsaw cs30 cs31 a major avantage

 

You will need to be qualified and have gained the following:

 

Forestry operative post

 

NPTC

Chainsaw: CS30, CS31,

 

 

Lantra

Forestry Tractor

 

Lantra / Kensey

Tractor Mounted Winch

 

CS39 & CS38 & First aid at work an advantage

 

We operate within Cornwall on many Local Estates and Forestry Commisson sites and have work booked up for the next 3 years.

we work closely with the major timber & wholesale cordwood suppliers in the southwest and provide fuelwood to our sister companies which produces Charcoal, Wood chip & Firewood.

 

We are not just a forestry company primary we started off as a Firewood buisness a few years ago, we aim to be as sustainable as possible, we have many facets to our expanding company which includes Charcoal ,Firewood, woodchip & Cordwood/Sawlog Sales to the wholesale market.

 

All Forestry is done in house & when its all done we replant the woodlands with our own replanting team. We take care of everything for the Landowner and ensure they get a good return.
