Drove past a street in Sheffield yesterday, the street trees were Alnus glutinosa and they are looking stunning at the moment with the male inflorescences hanging and swaying in the breeze! Didn't have my camera unfortunately, would have made a nice picture!

 

Hazels in the hedgerows round here are looking awesome too. I love spring when all the deciduous trees and shrubs begin to grow again after the winter! Larch is one of my favourites, the colour of the buds in a month or two is just amazing! :001_tt1:
