Firewood haulage

googled it and only found photos and web sites of companies delivering lengths of timber

 

If one was to process firewood on site and have a haulage contractor pick it up with a 44T artic

1. what type of trailer would they use

2. how do they expect it bagged

3. how much weight and volume of hardwood can they fit on

you mean something like this....collected out of our yard today 44 pallets 22 have 50 nets per pallet and 22 pallets have 60 nets all hardwood ash logs

a haulier carrying to go up north as a return load

Interesting photo thanks

 

We used to get 26 pallets on the floor of a curtain sider so thats 52 pallets stacked on top of each other

do you only have 44 pallets due to the weight?

 

What kind of netting do you use round the pallets

how do you get the netting to hold the wood together in a cube so it dose not fall off

I can see some kind of yellow band around it

and did you have to buy the pallets
