Hello,

Just wondering if anybody in the know has any info on if the ropewrench is being allowed for use in the UK and I ISA event this year? Would also be good if anyone knows if the german ISA chapter are allowing it?

Cheers, Geoff

I would like to hear one good reason why SRWP is not allowed in competitions.. I cant think of any decent reason why it is not safe.. To be quite honest I find it ridiculous that the powers that be won't/don't allow things that they don't understand. Ive seen judges at last years Victoria TCC looking at Ewan's wrench setup and taking the piss about it in each others ears.. Oddly Ewan was up to the casualty faster than all the DdRT people. Which in the reality of a real rescue is surely one of the most important things.. GRRRR
