had this chain saw for a year now I have cut a lot of trees dowm and was woundering should i take it back to the stihl dealership to get it service I allways strip it down clean it check air filter will it be money well spent or a waste of time

I've never had a saw serviced or repaired by a dealer I check them over my self and if not happy with something I change it for a new part or repair it . It really depends on you your capabilities and if you are ok with working on your own kit or give it to a dealer to f##k up as this has happened to se guys I know
