IMO Heck Yes. I just rebuilt another 83cc poulan 505 myself and also own a echo 8000 80cc.

 

The new top end kits are suppose to be even better. If one is needed update. Thread on chainsaw repair site with comparison pics.

 

scroll down and the pics are embedded. echo 8000 piston and cylinder pics - newest

 

Wow, there is a lot of room for porting there ;)

 

I added a similar popup to that on my 444; huge difference.
