HI MATE yes like you said just lift one end of a large butt of 4ton plus butt it will go on ok jon :thumbup:

 

I could be wrong but I doubt it. Certainly not plus. My roof mount won't do it. And I dont remember doing a 4 ton log when I had my trailer? If as you say a log weights half if you lift it at one end your not gonna do the other without at least half the extension out and thus halving the lift cap? If nothing else I think people should be discouraged from putting excess stress in the poor crane. Use a handler and have a crane without cracks for a long time! X

Originally it was going for chipwood, it now looks like its going as firewood to someone who's not too particular, as lime doesn't burn too well. It's the product of some roadside tree safety work which needs moving so any income is a bonus.

I was extracting it down the busy road in the background and there is quite a kerb - I didn't fancy loosing a lump as I pulled out!
