The nearest I can see in the UK is the Posch Packfix palleting system. Jas P Wilson have an ex-demo machine for sale.

 

 

However I have seen elsewhere in this forum a great idea using a pallet and some ryloc net fencing. Just as effective and a good deal cheaper. Can any clever forumers find the link?

thats what i use... not my photo but i stack them up 3 high and to empty them i just tip them over or undo the join...they dry pretty quick too.

 

does take some time to organise the crates though

 

just split all into a big barn at the mo

Variation on the above theme... galvanised wire cages. Best thing we ever bought! Wood gets cut and split as soon as possible, is stacked into cages and from then on is so easy to season and handle. Some (on a deposit) are even delivered directly to customers garages.

We have a system similar to Posch. Process fresh and you get quick drying. Forklift friendly, so a lot less labour.
