Yeah, I bought a few. Not worth the postage otherwise!

 

Blew both testers on the two Makitas I'm fixing. Both have compression over 175...

Blew both testers on the two Makitas I'm fixing. Both have compression over 175...

 

Yeah - they rupture the springs on the high compression machines - pull over the saw a little slowly until the meter has built up pressure - it works a little better but still can blow them:001_rolleyes:
