done it sept 2011 mate didnt look to cleaver till sept 2012 though

at one point i thought i killed it but thought the LA said i could do it as the tree had a TPO on it

the 2 where before and after

first pic is the over yew on this site i reduced and the 2nd is the back side of the big yew

i really did not like doing this job

trees are a lot more hardcore than people give em credit for,get stuck in,you wont kill it

 

Thanks for your advice. When I do the job I will take pics before and after and post them. I'm not the best but every tree you do the better I will get. I just didn't want to hack at it like a p@&£y.

Looks very good, it doesn't look butchered at all. 50 percent is what customer wants. Due to the location of the tree. He will see anything less will be a waste of money.

 

how big is the tree most yew of any size round here has a TPO on it

ask 40% and do what i did aim for 40%-30%

50% is what the bloke asked for and when i had finished the bloke was over the moon :thumbup:

pick ur height and shape the tree to the height

The crown is about 8 meters wide. About 10 meters high so it's not that big of a tree.

there was one more yew i done on that site but cant find the pics under power lines :lol: took quite a bit of the top

how u getting on bud

 

Doing well, will have to meet up soon, might have a bit of a rec climb on here in the spring.
