looks like new tyres are needed aswell lol, nice chunky ones :D

 

Yeah man the tyres look like there a bit low, we got a Merlo Forklift at the farm and the front tyres were shite, when they got changed the tread was bout 3inches or so, the difference was unbelivable.

A good tip if your wheels sink in the mud like that is to rock forward and backward to make a short trench.

 

Move forward so your wheels are to the front of the trench, then half fill the trench behind all four wheels with wood chip, reverse back onto the woodchip the fill the trench fully in front of all four wheels then go forward again to the front and repeat until you are raised out of the trench.

 

Lay woodchip down in your path and gun it out.

 

Have self recovered twice this week in this fashion, woodchip and shovel is normally always to hand.:001_smile:

Thanks for the tips. I will try all these methods next time because its bound to happen again! (or at least tell my boss, he never lets me drive it :() It does put a smile on my face though and makes great pub talk when we finally get there.

 

Yeah the tyres need replacing for sure.
