When I read about equipment being stolen more and more, I do think that there is something sick and fundamentaly wrong with our society and country. What gives someone the right to take from someone else and get away with it? Then the Police seem to be powerless or do nothing?

Jeez thats a big hit to take.... hope you get at least some of it back...

Hi all. ive been at the game 12 odd years now and not lost any gear yet, sure ive forgotten bits and bobs but never had it pinched, did drop a radio one day, took hours to find it..... on the chipper in feed tray..... was surfing the net last night and found this......Tile

its discreet its small enough to glue in anywhere on a saw or stick in a chipper or even on your keys....... only down side is that it needs replacing once a year,

Now we are all plagued by the"cousins" as we refer to them over here, Selling gates, saws or shed painting, normally i would take photos and tell them to f off and when they get thick offer them to meet the boss...... Mr Twelve gauge.... he is very good at communicating.....:001_tt2:

so a few dead batteries and a bit of scrap metal disappear .... but its only a matter of time before some gear gets whipped, now over here the police will take a report, might even send a techie out for prints, might even lift good prints, and thats it.....dosent matter if its 100k machine thats been lifted thats the end of it.... So how nice would it be to trace your gear to its new owner....:thumbup1:

For me the satisfaction of informing them of the error of their ways would far out weigh the cost of fitting these to prime gear... even when we have nice clear pics of them on expensive security cameras.........

Have a look and see what you think.j
