Has anyone seen an LM2 in operation or aware of any in the UK. Looks the business on youtube but the lack of a potential UK assistance should things go awry is a little offputing, but then again at almost half the price of the equivalent mizer it does sound good value..anyone have an idea what shipping cost might be from the US?

You've got me thinking again about the Logmaster! Price for the LM2 (21ft 6" x 36 inch log capacity - same diameter and 1ft long than the Woodmizer) with 38hp Kohler Petrol (diesel is a $5500 option) and hydraulic debarker is only £16600 plus delivery and import taxes (about 1.5%). I reckon I could almost sell my Woodmizer and buy that without incurring extra cost.

The thought of a nice new mill without a single electric motor (all hydraulic) is very tempting.

LM2 Mill $25,725 + De barker $2,850 + Shipping and Insurance $4,150= $32,725 or approx £20,842 plus VAT of course, according to HMRC this is zero rated for import duty?? I would need to clarify this though!

Jonathan, if your serious about ordering one drop me a pm, i dont know how many you can get in a shipping container but we might be able to save a few quid!
