Hi all,

I've been in the market for another used saw, in trying to narrow down the year of a specific saw I noticed most of the 353 saws have the words

(air injection) and patent pending on the pull housing sticker,

Can anyone tell me when husqvarna started and stopped putting this info on the sticker ?.

No idea but the "3" series Husqvarnas have the date of manufacture on the serial number tab that you will find on the clutch cover side under the top handle just above the two bolts that locate it.

 

Personally I would have the 346XP above the 353XP as it is much more lively:thumbup:

Thanks for the quick reply spud,

Yep I know where the plate is on the 353 but the buyer cant get access to the saw for another few days im just impatient and thought i could narrow it down from the pic,

And yes i agree if i could find a decent 346xp at the right price i would have it but there's not many around,

This is your que to say i just happen to have a low use minter on my bench for very reasonable money ;-)
