Glendale is the “green business of Parkwood Holdings plc. Glendale is one of the largest green services providers within the UK, with an annual turnover of £45 million. Glendale has the objective of continuing to grow whilst focussing on improved profitability. Glendale’s core business is Grounds Management and Countryside. In the past decade Glendale has diversified its range of green activities to include: golf, horticulture, green waste recycling and environmental consultancy.

 

Glendale has a new three-year strategy where the company shall grow organically and improve its profitability.

 

Glendale Countryside – South East

Glendale Countryside in the South East went through a number of changes in 2009, and a new three-year strategy was written in 2010 to grow the business organically through local authority and private work to £1million pa. In January 2011, Glendale Countryside - South East secured £1 million pa turnover forward order book.

 

Contract Manager – Surrey CC

Salary: Dependent on Skills and Competencies

 

The business is seeking a strong Contract Manager who can liaise and manage several key clients, to monitor and provide accurate Key Performance Indicators on a monthly basis and to deliver the Arboriculture Contract throughout Surrey County Council. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing several arboricultural teams, be a able to drive productivity and ensure that the workforce provides a quality service. The successful candidate will have a strategic outlook of the contract to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies along the way.
