Oxdale se 400

Does anyone own or use oxdale splitters?

they look very robust. i did have a simular version to there road tow but have found the road tow models whatever the make seem to bounce around like buggery:confused1:

 

this portable se 400 (would move it on trailer)

looks ok but what do other people reckon??

My dad brought oxdale tractor mounted one a few months back, its ok quite a good basic design although we think it would benefit from a bigger splitting head like most other splitters- requires more power obviously but the standard heads seem to break rings up better then oxdales offering.

look at the Riko ones, i think i will be buying their portable version with petrol engine.

yes i did notice the small wedge,

thanks will look at the rike version the oxdale model just looked simple, strong & reliable.
