Hi Dr Green

Hydraulic oil only goes as far as the drive motors within the roller box assembly.

With this in mind you either have a hose gone (likely) or the hydraulic motor seals have gone (less likely)

Pressure releif valve is set to 150BAR so if the hose splits the oil goes a long way.

If it is the hose you will probably be able to get a replacemnet hose made up locally using yours as the pattern. Any hose supplier such as Pirtek will be able to assist.

Hope this helps

Turns out on route to the job somehow the insides of the chipper (flywheel/blade area) got full of water with the heavy rain , which then with all the sap from prevoius days work plus all the dirt turned the water black with what looked like oil . Being very carefull i shut it down and decided not to use it futher what with prevoius problems

An idiotic move however could have went the opposite way if it was broken and i decided to use it.

thanks anyways - fingers crossed it realy ok when i use it properly tomorrow
