I mention Paul McCartney, not because he sang the song in Wings, but that he owns a farm on the Mull of Kintyre..............

 

The neighbouring farmers used to get annoyed with Linda because none of her tup lambs were ever castrated and none of the fences were in very good condition.... (need I say more) :thumbdown:

Yes, Arran is on the Gulf Stream and enjoys a relatively mild climate.

We even have palm trees (although I haven't tried them through the chipper yet) :ohmy:

Dont bother trying to chip palm trees, tried it gave up. ( Argyll is a gem, I lived in Lochgilphead and Achnamara for 15 months, Its the only place to live in I would leave Dorset for.)
