Contact Management Software for Business

Has any one got any experience in using contact management software?

I have looked at Microsoft outlooks version of Business Contact manager which is ok and will keep details and all but I want something that will generate automatic Invoices and such and I don't think this is capable. I also look at Sage Act this seemed a lot more complicated and to be honest the demo put me off a little as it seemed very slow.
