What wrong with cheque or cash nowadays? Do we rely that much on technology that even the simple things are done by electronics?

 

It winds me up when I'm waiting in a queue in the shops and someone is paying for an item that costs a few quid and they have to use there card! What you haven't got a quid in your pocket to pay for it? Quick and easy my arse.

 

There is a very valid reason for being able to take payments by card. We often get asked if people can spread the cost for expensive projects. If we took credits cards then they'd be able to pay like that.

My iZettle arrived through the post this week and I must say I'm rather impressed. It's still in Beta testing at the moment, probably hence why they've not got Visa sorted yet, but it'll be a super handy wee system once it's running.

 

I can 'totally' see the value for you guys out n about doing jobs at customers places. No more chasing invoices or waiting to get paid - card, iPad/iPhone, done.
