hi guys, my family and i are going to be moving from england to boisseuil near limoges in department 87, i am 29 and have 10 years experience including 9 years as a climber and running a gang for 4 years, most work was done on high voltage power lines (11000 and 33000 volts). Does anyone know anyone who may be able to help me get some work when we come over or just some advice from you guys on things i may need to do or know or what i should expect when we are there would be very much appreciated,

Hi,

Welcome to the forum,

Its a broad subject to deal in one post, so with out going into too much detail, you'll need to speak some French, I hope this isnt stating the obvious but they do like it. People are extremely friendly & welcoming, particularly in more rural areas. I spoke more to our neighbour the first day we moved in, than with our old neighbour in the UK in the three years he lived next to us!

There are several forums which will provide a lot of help, for example

Employment, Jobs, Work & Starting Business in France

AngloINFO France. Everything for expats living in or moving to France.

The Complete Guide to France - Travel, Living in France & Expat - Lost-in-France.com

Bon chance!
