I went for a wander around a piece of woodland which adjoins the trailway. There is a footpath that passes the side of the wood but the locals have created desire line paths which criss-cross the wood. There are some fine trees in there. Pretty much every single large Beech has Kretz. There are some stunning natural pollards hidden in the depths.
