Interesting, I've been offered a fairly competitive price on the HT101 as its an ex-display one and was thinking of only using it on the smaller stuff anyway as anything too big it would be quicker to climb and use 200t.

Theres only 0.2kg difference in the weight.

We use them fairly regularly in work. Line clearance. Lot of hedges and regrowth, so for our purposes the 101 is a PITA. It's reasonably reliable and will cut small diameter stuff, so will do what you want from it. But if you have a lot to do the 131 really is a lot more powerful in practice. Not sure of the hp of either of them, but the difference in practice is very noticable. If you are getting a good deal on it than go for it. Never pass up a good deal.

If your willing to make the investment in the model 131, perhaps try the model 717-A of the Easy-Lift Harness, yes a shameless plug, but if you never want to lift that Power pole saw or any implement of that sort again during use the ELH is the best investment for the long haul.
