How or Where did you start?

i found this website when i was looking for a winch, my question is this how did you get into the business and is everyone here qualified? i wouldnt be brazen enough to call myself any sort of arbourist or tree surgeon as i havent opened a book or gained any qualifications.. ive experience in rock climbing and gained experience with machinery. i limb, fell, plant and thin trees as a contractor... the reputable companies i contacted are happy to get people with chainsaw licences when workis there but theres not much technical stuff here... i could only do a distance course as the only college in ireland that does arb evening courses is impractical for me...
