Husky 357 xpg wont run

I think you should go with your gut feeling in the first place Pyro, Before getting carried away with major repairs check..

 

1. the fuel pick up hose (from tank to carb) It could be split where it comes out of the tank, and might explain some fuel leakage too.

 

2. if thats OK, then check the internal gauze filter in the carb. It can be found under the pump membrane, which is under the top plate held on with 4 screws. It could be blocked with dirt or emusified oil which has seperated from the mix and combined with water.

 

go from there.

Hey guys and gals, Ive found the cause of the problems (I think!) The fuel pick up line was perished and split beyond belief, It fell appart when i moved it out of the way.

Ive got my job back now so things have got a bit busy again at home!

 

thanks for your help!

annoyed i dropped one of the fuel tank av rubber mounts though, god knows where that went!
