Opinions of the 575/576

Ive had one 12 months and love it, pulls a 28" happily and has buckets of tourq, Not as fast cutting in small stuff or as balanced as my 441 but IMO a better in big stuff.

Ive heard very bad things about them on other sites and see very few being used with most folk still buying 372s.

Do you use one and do you like it?

don't really get the 575 personally,or rather don't really get the marketing of it.its been out a few years now alongside the 372 which is still on sale, good saw(says a stihl man)so why market it as a replacement but not have the confidence to replace it?!! maybe with my imminent order of an ms460 (with a warm handle) i'm biased?

I run the 372, and a mate runs the 575, I like the torque of the 575, and I think it may be the better of the two, even tho they are both the wrong colour. With my experiences of the Huskies, I doubt very much I'd buy another, the warranty support from them was utter crap IMO, hence my change over (reluctantly to start with) to Stihl. The older saws from Husky were excellent, from the 254, 266, 272, 2100 and so on, but I'm not sure of the newer models, of course this is only one opinion.
